Living Fully – Strasbourg 2017

30 August – 2 September 2017

In June 2016, The Kairos Forum went to Rome to deliver the Living Fully Academic Symposium and conference in the Vatican – co-patroned by the Pontifical Council for Culture.

The four-day event brought together persons with disabilities, members of their families, leading theologians and practitioners within the field of theology and disability. Our time together,
celebrated the presence of persons with disabilities and advocated a place of belonging and hope for all people – no matter their ability.

Now we’re repeating the ‘Living Fully’ experience in another European city… Strasbourg in France.

From the 30 August to 2 September 2017, Kairos in partnership with the European Society for the Study of Disability will hold another Living Fully event.

We have organised four workshops within the framework of the European Society for Catholic Theology’s (ESSTD) Congress on Fraternity in Strasburg.

Our workshops will provide an opportunity to deepen the theme of fraternity and disability within all fields of theology but also in its relationship with, sociology, anthropology, charity, environment, education and more.
